Sky Sports will be the exclusive UK broadcaster for the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League from the 2027/28 season.
All 342 matches from both competitions will be available to watch on Sky Sports for four years from summer 2027.
Sky Sports’ extensive coverage of the Premier League, EFL, WSL, Scottish Premiership and more means Sky Sports viewers can watch frequent football seven nights a week.
Jonathan Licht, Chief Sporting Officer at Sky, said: “We’re proud to bring European football competitions back to Sky customers. The UEFA Europa League and Conference League have delivered some of the most exciting European stories in recent years, with English clubs consistently performing well and lifting trophies.”
“This partnership is made possible by the strength of our business model and brand as the home of sport in the UK. Fans will now be able to enjoy regular domestic or European football on Sky Sports throughout the season, alongside the Premier League, EFL, SPFL, WSL and more.”
Sky is the unrivaled home of football in the UK and Ireland, with more games that matter to fans than any other platform.
Currently, Sky Sports customers can watch at least 215 Premier League games, over 1,000 EFL games, up to 60 SPFL games, 118 Women’s Super League games and Bundesliga games every season.
It’s set to be another strong year for Sky Sports, with the expansion of football coverage continuing to deliver exceptional growth, with viewing hours for the Premier League up 20 per cent and Women’s Super League up 22 per cent. Female audience ratings also increased by 14% from the previous year, a record high.
This year has been marked by record attendance numbers and landmark moments for the sport, including the most-watched weekend in Sky Sports history (September 27/28) and Sunday (April 13), alongside record-breaking attendance numbers for the Ryder Cup, British Open Championship, Masters, ICC Women’s World Cup, Grand Slam, World Grand Prix Darts and multiple F1 races so far.
The US Open men’s final was also the most watched since tennis returned to Sky Sports in 2023.
Non-Sky subscribers can access Sky Sports without a contract with the streaming service now through their Sports Day or Monthly memberships.
In Italy, Sky strengthened its partnership with UEFA, gaining exclusive rights to 185 of the 203 UEFA Champions League matches and all 342 matches in the Europa League and Conference League.
