US internet infrastructure company cloudflare The company announced Friday that it has issued fixes for issues with the dashboard and related apps.

The company’s stock fell as much as 4.5% in pre-market trading after its global website went down and Cloudflare said it was investigating.

The company announced an update minutes later, saying it had “implemented the fix” and was monitoring the results. Cloudflare stock pared some of its decline following the news, and was recently down 2%.

Sites that appear to have been affected include professional networking platform LinkedIn, digital currency exchange Coinbase, and online publishing platform Substack.

Outage monitoring site Downdetector itself appears to have been temporarily affected, but users are reporting a sharp increase in problems with e-commerce platforms and other sites. Shopify, HSBC and food delivery groups delivery rouxspecifically around 9:16 a.m. London time.

These reports decreased as Cloudflare implemented a fix shortly thereafter.

The outage comes less than three weeks after a similar Cloudflare crash sparked error messages across the internet, but the company said at the time that the issue was “unacceptable” given the criticality of the service.

Cloudflare’s software is used by many companies around the world, helping manage and secure approximately 20% of the web’s traffic. Some of the services we provide help prevent distributed denial-of-service attacks (attacks in which a malicious attacker overloads a website’s systems with so many traffic requests that it becomes unable to function).

—CNBC’s Annie Palmer contributed to this report.
