Stock futures were mostly flat Sunday night after another strong week on Wall Street as investors focused on the U.S. Federal Reserve meeting.

Dow Jones Industrial Average Futures Added 35 points (0.2%). S&P500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures Each rose 0.1%.

Sunday night’s move came after the three major indexes were positive for the second consecutive week. The Dow Composite and Nasdaq Composite rose 0.5% and 0.9%, respectively, for the week.

The S&P 500 index rose about 0.3% last week, while the composite index fell about 0.7% from its intraday high. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq also posted their fourth straight day of wins on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average turning positive in three of the past four sessions.

Stocks rose on Friday after a delayed September core personal consumption expenditure price index was weaker than economists expected. It was one of the last major economic announcements ahead of the Federal Reserve’s policy meeting this week.

Traders have been increasingly hopeful in recent weeks that the Fed will cut interest rates at the last Federal Open Market Committee meeting of the year. Federal funds futures are pricing in about an 88% chance of a decline, up from less than 67% a month ago, according to CME’s FedWatch tool.

Eric Friedman, chief investment officer for wealth management at Northern Trust, said in a letter to clients that “the market…is appropriately focused on lowering or holding interest rates following the FOMC meeting.” But “investors are probably more interested in the outlook of voters and developments surrounding future Fed leadership.”

There are no notable economic data scheduled for release on Monday, but the New York Fed will release a survey of consumer expectations in the morning. Investors will be paying attention to the earnings of companies such as: lululemon, costco, broadcom, oracle and adobe This is the schedule for this week.
