ChatGPT is releasing its own version of Spotify Wrapped. To wit, the OpenAI-owned chatbot is currently rolling out an annual review feature called “Your Year with ChatGPT” to eligible consumers in select markets, including the United States.

Other English-speaking markets that will have access to the new service include Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

At launch, the feature will be available to users on Free, Plus, and Pro plans who have the “See saved memories” and “See chat history” options turned on and meet minimum standards for conversational activity, the company told TechCrunch via email.

The “Your Year with ChatGPT” feature is not available for Team, Enterprise, or Education accounts. Additionally, the company says the experience is “lightweight, privacy-focused, and user-controlled.”

Like other annual reviews offered by consumer apps, “Your Year with ChatGPT” is inspired by the popular year-end review show “Spotify Wrapped.” Similar to Spotify’s feature, OpenAI personalizes the experience by using catchy graphics and awarding “awards” based on how you use ChatGPT throughout the year.

For example, if you use a chatbot to come up with a solution to a problem or explore a concept or idea, you could be awarded the ‘Creative Debugger’ title.

This app also creates poems and images about your year focusing on topics of your interest. (ChatGPT will start accepting adult content in 2026, so I’m curious to see what happens next year.)

The year-end summary is promoted on the ChatGPT app’s home screen, but it is not forced on users or opened automatically.

The company says it will be available on the ChatGPT web app and mobile apps for iOS and Android.

You can also directly ask ChatGPT “Your Year with ChatGPT” to trigger the experience.
