The Hundred’s London Spirit has announced the signing of eight international players for the 2026 campaign, while also unveiling its “new brand identity”.

Three of the contracted players, Charlie Dean, Grace Harris and Jamie Overton, will be part of the 2025 squad, along with Adam Zampa, Australia’s leading wicket-taker in T20 international cricket.

Zampa took 30 wickets at an average of 13.13 for The Hundred. No player has taken more wickets at a lower average.

Dean has played with the franchise every year since the Hundred’s inception in 2021, being part of the team that won the title in 2024 and captaining the Spirit in 2025, leading the team to the Eliminator.

England all-rounder Overton was named The Hundred Player of the Tournament in 2023. In 2025, he represented the London Spirit and finished the season as the team’s leading wicket-taker.

Jamie Overton cleaned up twin brother Craig as London Spirit kept their hopes of making the 2025 Hundred play-offs alive with victory over Southern Brave.

They have also signed Dewald Brevis, a 22-year-old middle-order batsman who has played in five franchise leagues and holds South Africa’s highest individual T20 score with his 161 off 57 balls in the 2022 CSA T20 Challenge. He will make his debut in “The Hundred”.

Mahika Gaur, a young seamer who made her international debut with the United Arab Emirates at the age of 13 and went on to represent England at the age of 17, joins from Manchester Originals.

Harris, one of London Spirit’s star players in 2025, returns to Lord’s this year. She played a match-winning innings of 89 not out to defeat the Oval Invincibles in the campaign opener, finishing as the tournament’s fourth-highest run-scorer with 214 runs.

Marisanne Kapp joined the London Spirit from Oval Invincibles and was named Player of the Match at the 2022 The Hundred Final. She has taken 46 wickets for The Hundred, which is the fourth highest in the history of the competition.

Liam Livingstone is England’s big-hitting all-rounder and has a wealth of franchise experience. In 2021, he broke the British record for fastest hundred with 42 balls and was named the 2021 edition of The Hundred Men’s Player of the Tournament.

Men’s head coach Andy Flower said: “I’m excited to start working with Dewald and Adam and renew my partnership with Liam and Jamie. Each player brings tremendous experience not only to The Hundred, but franchise cricket around the world. Their skill sets provide a strong foundation for the team and we look forward to completing the team with even more talented players.”

Women’s Head Coach John Lewis said: “It’s great to be able to bring in such talented players in the women’s game. I’m delighted for London Spirit fans to see the return of two popular players in Charlie & Grace and I’m confident Mahika and Marizanne will bring real skill and experience to our bowling attack.”

London Spirit also revealed that Barclays and Nike have joined as the franchise’s first commercial partners as part of its new brand identity.

Spirit said the brand update was made after extensive market research covering team names, colors and values. The name will remain the same for 2026 (as confirmed in August), but the new branding includes an updated LS logo that reflects the slope of the Lord.

When choosing colors, the franchise revealed that there was a clear preference among market research respondents, including MCC members, to subtly incorporate MCC’s signature red and yellow colors. This is incorporated using a thread that threads through a range of blue London Spirit products.
