Luke Littler celebrated his 19th birthday on Wednesday and has already achieved more as a teenager than almost all darts players before him.

Littler, who defeated Jan van Veen at Alexandra Palace in January and scored a breakthrough victory over Michael van Gerwen, is the world number one and is currently in command as world champion for the second consecutive year.

The successful defense of the Sid Waddell Trophy was another title for Littler, capping off a remarkable 12 months during 2025, when he also won the British Open, World Match Play, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts and Players Championship Final.

He is the pre-tournament favorite to win this year’s Premier League Darts, which starts on February 5 and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, having reached the final in each of his last two appearances.
