Caroline Dubois reignites her bitter rivalry with Terry Harper at her first press conference. You can watch it on our free live stream.
Dubois and Harper will fight in a world title unification match that will be broadcast live on Sky Sports on an epic bill that will also feature Ellie Scotney’s undisputed world title fight, while Chantel Cameron is also set to compete in a world title fight at the Olympia in London on Sunday, April 5.
Emotions boiled over when Dubois and Harper faced off on the set of Gloves Off, but the feuding pair ended up reuniting in front of the watching media.
“She was biting everything I said,” WBC lightweight champion Dubois told Sky Sports after the fight.
“If someone gets threatened, I think it’s a byproduct, an accusation on their part. I think you get into these things and just try to be yourself. You try to put your feelings into words and be honest. That’s all I did.”
“I see right through her. I’m not focused on her, I’m looking through her. As a person, I don’t see any resistance there. I think she’s pretty weak, weak-hearted, and a very pathetic person.”
WBO champion Harper told Sky Sports: “I thought it was a little strange. I feel like I lost a few brain cells trying to argue with some idiot, but it’s one of those things you have to do.”
“I thought that was stupid and too forceful and walked away. She tried to argue, but I was able to keep a strong head and just get the points and facts that I needed to get across. You can’t argue with facts. Just like you can’t argue with a fool, you can’t argue with facts.”
In a historic double main event, unified super bantamweight world champion Scotney will face WBA world titlist Mayeli Flores of Mexico in a 10-round undisputed championship showdown contested at 122 pounds.
Cameron, the only professional fighter to defeat Katie Taylor, will fight Czech challenger Mikaela Kotaskova for the WBO super welterweight world title.
