Tyson Fury’s comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 11, according to promoter Turki Alarusik.

Fury will box in the UK for the first time since winning a three-part battle against Derek Chisora in 2022, also held at the 62,850-seat stadium in north London.

Fury lost the WBC world heavyweight title he held when Oleksandr Usyk defeated Fury in a 2024 undisputed championship showdown. Usyk repeated his points victory in the rematch with Fury.

The British heavyweight star announced his retirement early last year but is set to return to Box Makhmudov.

Fury has expressed strong desire to return. “It’s an exciting time for Tyson and for British boxing,” his promoter Frank Warren told Sky Sports.

“He’s really in good shape, he’s been training hard in Thailand and he’s in good shape.

“He’s taking care of himself and he’s in good shape. He’s always going to be in fight mode and come out to prove a point. I’m looking forward to the fight.”

“It’s a big fight. Tyson did it. He still holds the record for highest grossing Wembley tournament.

“He’s a big draw.”
