The stock has fallen 8.5% from its December 3 high. The stock price rose about 8% last year. AAPL Apple Stocks Over the Past 12 Months 1Y Mountain Amazon We’ll be keeping an eye on the stock price after it rose 1.2% on Tuesday, breaking a nine-day losing streak. Amazon fell 17% in those 10 days. So far in 2026, the stock price is down about 13%. Amazon is down 22% from its 52-week high in early November. CNBC TV’s Morgan Brennan will talk more about Amazon and Apple on Wednesday on “Worldwide Exchange,” starting at 5 a.m. ET. Squawk Box Data The Consumer Durables report will be released at 8:30 a.m. along with housing starts. Becky Quick, Joe Kernen, and Andrew Ross Sorkin have instant access to numbers and market reactions. For durable goods, economists surveyed by Dow Jones are calling for a 2% decline. The government is aiming for a 5.1% increase in housing starts. Wingstop reported this morning that its stock has risen 11% in the past three months. Wingstop stock is down 35% from its June high. Recent data provided by Generation Lab’s Verb.AI, which tracks the purchasing patterns of Americans between the ages of 18 and 34, shows that DoorDash is by far their preferred food delivery service. Investors seem to be losing confidence. The stock is down 43% from its October high. Fed Minutes Hear what the Federal Reserve is really saying by getting the latest policymakers’ meeting minutes with Kelly Evans and Brian Sullivan’s “Power Lunch” at 2 p.m. sharp. Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg is scheduled to testify in a lawsuit against Meta Platforms in Los Angeles. The lawsuit accuses the company of making its products addictive to children and causing psychological distress. The stock price has fallen 3% since the beginning of the year.
