Beau Greaves became the first woman to hit a nine-darter on the PDC Pro Tour with a perfect dart against Mensur Suljovic at the Players Championship on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old marked the milestone with a fist pump and a subtle soliloquy en route to a 6-5 victory as Suljovic wasted three match darts.

She defeated former Lakeside champion Chris Landman 6-5 after a 116 finish in the opening round to advance to the third round in Leicester.

She was ultimately halted by a 6-3 loss to David Sharpe, with Gerwyn Price winning the tournament by defeating Andrew Gilding in the final.

“I couldn’t believe I’d hit it! I was just about to hit Treble 19, so I was pretty confident I’d get double 12,” Greaves said.

“I couldn’t stop smiling because I couldn’t wait to tell my dad, even though I knew he was watching.

“I almost missed the shot a few times, but I’m glad I finally hit it. I’m happy to be the first woman to hit the ball on the PDC Pro Tour, and I’m also glad I was able to hit it live.”

“It was hard to get back into the game after I hit the ball, and I was shaking after I hit it. I was nervous, but I managed to win in the end.”

Greaves recently opened the 2026 Women’s Series with a perfect weekend in Germany, extending her win record to 113 games and her 17th straight win after dropping just 23 and whitewashing 14 in 27 games.

The three-time WDF World Darts Championship champion has not lost on the Women’s Series circuit since April 2025.

“I’m enjoying the start of my life on the PDC Pro Tour. I’m a little nervous and struggling in parts with my throwing, but I’m playing well and I’m enjoying it,” she added on Wednesday.

“You’re playing against the best players in the world, so if you lose a game, it’s just because they played better than you that day.”

Greaves, a two-time Women’s World Matchplay Champion and a record 50 PDC Women’s Series titles, claims to be one of darts’ rising stars. She earned that opportunity by finishing second in the 2025 PDC Developmental Tour standings, becoming the fourth woman in history to own a PDC Tour card.

She became the first woman to reach the finals of the PDC World Youth Championship, defeating Luke Littler in the semifinals last year.

Price gears up for MVG Premier League victory

Price defeated Gilding 8-1 overall, aiming to win his first PDC ranking title in 2026.

Price, who finished second to Wessel Nyman in The Players Championship 2 earlier this month, did one better against Leicester, posting a tournament average of 102.82 in the win.

The former world champion conceded just 14 legs in seven matches at the Mattioli Arena, significantly outperforming the Niziman and topping the 2026 Players Championship rankings after six tournaments.

Gerwyn Price was in great form heading to victory.

“I thought I played decently today,” said Price, who will face Michael van Gerwen in Round 4 of the Premier League in Belfast on Thursday night, live on Sky Sports.

“Even in the final there were one or two games where I wasn’t at my best, but I was good enough.

“The Premier League (Thursday) is a big night for me so it’s great to win and get a bit of confidence and I’m looking forward to tomorrow.”

“I’m doing well. Two years ago I had my worst year ever in the PDC, so this year I haven’t defended anything at all.”

“No matter who’s better than me, I’m going to get them!”

Gerwin Price Reaction Antwerp February 12th

Price said after the recent Premier League win in Antwerp that he was playing some of the best darts of his career.

Price advanced to the third round with back-to-back 6-1 wins over Cristo Reyes and Mike Quivenhoven, and had an even more dramatic win at the expense of Lucas Wennig.

The 40-year-old also had an outstanding performance against Scott Waits, averaging 109.48 points and overwhelming the former Grand Slam champion 6-1 in the battle.

The relentless standard continued in the quarterfinals against Kevin Doets, with Price averaging 108.59 points, setting up a showdown with World Cup partner Johnny Clayton.

Creighton ended its losing streak against Price at 10 in the Premier League last week, but could not repeat that feat as Price averaged 104.47 points in a 7-4 victory.

The Welshman then took an early 3-0 lead in Wednesday’s feature match against Gilding, confirming his clinical 104 checkout at the top with 15 darters in a row.

Former British Open champion Gilding posted an 84 in the fourth leg, but Price won the remaining five legs, including a 153 in the penultimate leg, to take home the top prize of £15,000.
