What EFL will be broadcast live on Sky Sports+ on Saturdays at 12:30pm?

Sky Sports+ has a selection of live EFL games on Saturdays. The build-up begins at 11am on Sky Sports Football ahead of the feature game between Leicester City and Norwich City. You can also keep up with all the action from EFL Goal Zone football from midday on Saturday.

what’s the live show on saturday

CH: Derby vs Blackburn, Leicester vs Norwich, Portsmouth vs Hull L1: Leyton Orient vs Barnsley, Northampton vs Peterborough L2: Cambridge vs MK Dons, Shrewsbury vs Walsall

Leicester City, under new manager Gary Rowett, remain in the bottom three after two draws this week. They led in both games, but were caught up by Stoke and Middlesbrough. They find themselves far from their safe spot for the weekend.

Meanwhile, Norwich City beat Sheffield Wednesday in midweek to move eight points clear of the table. Their fears of relegation are slowly starting to become a thing of the past.

Simeon Gollum and Gary Weaver look to championship showdown

Gary Weaver of Sky Sports:

“Gary came on and got two draws. We could have easily beaten Stoke with the chances we had late in the game. We did well against Middlesbrough too. We took the lead and fought well. It’s his first home game as manager so he’ll be looking forward to it.”

“As for Norwich, I watched them play against Sheffield on Wednesday. They started well on Wednesday but Norwich took control. It was a great goal from Paris Maghoma. Norwich fans already love him. He plays with real imagination.”

“Losing Mohamed Toure is a big blow and Matthias Qvistgaden is the only suitable striker at the moment and that could be a problem.

“There are eight points between Norwich and Leicester. It remains to be seen whether Leicester can pull Norwich back into that gap. West Brom are probably the team Leicester are targeting given what’s going on at Albion at the moment. It’s a very important game at the King Power.”

Elsewhere in the Championship, they host relegation-threatened Blackburn Rovers in the play-offs chasing Derby County, while Portsmouth host promotion-chasing Hull City.

In League One, struggling Leyton Orient host Barnsley and Northampton Town sit in the bottom four, hosting Peterborough United.

In League Two, Cambridge United face MK Dons in second place against third place, while Shrewsbury Town will be hoping to continue their recent resurgence against a Walsall side who have fallen down the table.

Significant clash at St Andrews on Monday night

Simeon Gollum and Gary Weaver look to championship showdown

Gary Weaver of Sky Sports:

“What Middlesbrough did before this little drop-off was unbelievable. It’s very difficult to win six games in a row in the Championship. They’re just wobbling a bit at the moment, but that’s what every team tends to do in this league.”

“It looks like it’s going to be a tough game heading into Monday night’s game against St Andrews. The pressure on Middlesbrough is that Ipswich and Millwall are close behind them. Middlesbrough still have to contend with both.”

“They’re creating chances but it was frustrating for Oxford. Leicester played a little bit higher up the pitch than Oxford did at the riverside and they also frustrated Middlesbrough.”

“As for Birmingham, there is no shame in losing to Millwall, but Chris Davies was not impressed with his performance. They lost John Solis to suspension, but he was a very important part of the midfield. Kai Wagner also has a shoulder injury and has played an important role since arriving. There is no natural replacement at left-back, so he will be left out of this squad.”

“Middlesbrough need to keep the bottom teams at bay, but Birmingham are looking to move closer to the top six. It should be an interesting night.”
