Las Vegas has always offered spectacular lights and stages like no other. But now it’s time for Super League to get serious.

Listening to Hull KR head coach Willie Peters and Leeds Rhinos manager Brad Arthur throughout this week, they have said a lot about not wanting their team to get caught up in the glitz and glamor.

However, they recognized that the task was next to impossible, so they had to find a balance between enjoying the event and focusing on the task at hand.

Since appearing on Sin City, Leeds and Robins players have paraded at every event, with thousands of fans seizing every opportunity to meet the superstars.

They started with a photo shoot and fan autograph session, moved on to an outrageous event at a nightclub, and then culminated with a fan experience on Fremont Street. This was an incredible show of just what Super League is all about.

The sport was introduced in the way it deserved. Talk to any British journalist who was there and they’ll tell you that attending Fremont Street was one of the highlights of their careers and the best show the sport has ever put on.

Players wore sun shades, hats and bomber jackets. They wowed the audience with their music, jokes, and fashion sense.

But the pre-show is over. It’s time for them to make their mark on the pitch. There’s nothing fancy, nothing glamorous, it’s all action.

Ultimately, when these two giants square off on Saturday night, it provides two competitive points.

Leeds are in 4th place with 1 win and 1 loss. Hull KR are 13th in the table after a shock opening game defeat to York Knights.

They bounced back in the most spectacular way with a monumental World Club Challenge victory over the Brisbane Broncos, but now they need to continue that momentum heading into Super League’s strangest regular round match.

Leeds had Hull KR’s number in 2025 – they have beaten them twice and should have beaten them three times. They will have a quiet confidence that they can do it again.

Highlights of Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves in Las Vegas

The task ahead is to entertain and showcase Super League flair, skill, toughness, determination and effort. Americans want a big hit!

Wigan’s defeat of Warrington in this competition last year was impressive, but these two teams will be hoping to put on a close and engaging fixture.

Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR will have hit the jackpot in Las Vegas if they can walk away with as high a Super League stock as they currently feel.
