Vibe-coding sensation Replit has reached a new funding milestone. The company announced Wednesday that it has raised $400 million in Series D funding at a valuation of $9 billion, led by previous investor Georgian Partners. Other participating investors include G Squared, Prysm Capital, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, Craft Ventures, Y Combinator, Accenture Ventures, Okta Ventures, and Databricks Ventures.
Founder and CEO Amjad Massad also said in a post on X that backers include angel investors Shaquille O’Neal and Jared Leto.
This follows the $3 billion valuation the company achieved when it raised $250 million in September. At the time, Replit said it expected annual revenue to reach $150 million. While Replit hasn’t released its latest current ARR numbers, the company told Forbes it expects to reach $1 billion in annual recurring revenue by the end of the year.
Replit’s recent rise has been impressive, but Massad previously told TechCrunch that finding its groove took nine years of training and the controversial decision to pivot from a professional developer service to a non-program service.
