Airline earnings accelerate Delta Air Lines kicks off earnings season for major airlines on Wednesday morning. Delta Air Lines announced Tuesday that it will join other airlines in increasing its checked baggage fees to compensate for rising fuel prices. DAL is down 5.5% in 2026 and has been essentially flat since the Iran war began. These numbers compare quite favorably with American Airlines and United Airlines, with the former dropping nearly 30% in 2026 and the latter dropping 20%. Since the start of the war, American Airlines has fallen 17% and United Airlines has fallen 16%. Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian will appear live in an exclusive interview with Phil LeBeau on “Squawk Box” starting Wednesday at 7 a.m. ET. 2026 DAL YTD Mountain Delta Air Lines News Excited Wednesday will also generate revenue from the Constellation brand. They come after the bell. The company, which makes the Corona and Modelo beer brands, has fallen about 11% over the past year. However, the stock price improved slightly in 2026, rising 11.5% this year. Analysts are generally positive about the name, with 14 rating it a buy or strong buy, according to LSEG. 8 people rated it as a hold and 2 people rated it underperforming. The KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF (KWEB) is down more than 17% year-to-date. All but two stocks in the KWEB ETF have been in the red since the beginning of the year. Notable laggards in 2026 include Tencent Music, which fell 49%. Trip.com (9961-HK) fell nearly 30% and NetEase (9899-HK) fell 29%. If you want to be optimistic, JD.com (9618-HK) and Meituan (3690-HK) are both up about 5% in the last month. KWEB YTD Mountain KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF (KWEB) 2026 Space Stocks Explode Artemis II’s historic trip around the moon captured the world’s attention this week. Space-related names also seem to be attracting investor attention. Firefly Aerospace is up about 25% in the last week and is up 59% in 2026. Intuitive Machines is up 22.5% over the past week and 40% year-to-date. Redwire rose 13.5% last week and is up 27% this year. Despite its big brand name, Virgin Galactic has a very small market capitalization of just $243 million, but it was up 23% last week. It has fallen nearly 7% since the beginning of the year.
