Startup Battlefield 200 applications are open, but only for three weeks. Please apply by May 27th. Get access to VC, global visibility, TechCrunch coverage, $100,000 in free equity, and more for the chance to make a big scale impact.

If you’re a pre-Series A founder and know a startup worth backing, remember this. The deadline is fast approaching and the most promising candidates have already entered the field. If your startup is nominated, there’s no need to wait. Complete your application now before the window closes.

Do you know a startup that deserves our attention? Nominate them now to give them time to complete their application before the deadline.

Global visibility to launch your startup

This is more than just a pitch contest. Startup Battlefield 200 puts you on the main stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 in front of 10,000+ attendees, top investors, media, and the TechCrunch audience from around the world. You compete live, get direct feedback from VCs, and prove your company belongs among the next breakout startups.

Waiting until the last moment is the quickest way to lose your advantage. Early applicants will have more time to prepare, more opportunity to stand out to the TechCrunch editorial team, and a greater chance to make an impact before the competition heats up. Nominate your startup, finish your work and apply.

Who should apply?

We’re looking for ambitious early-stage startups building innovative, potentially category-defining products. Applications are globally open across all industries. Most of the selected companies are pre-Series A, but selected Series A startups may qualify on a case-by-case basis. You need a functional MVP and a clear product demo. Most importantly, we’re looking for founders who build with vision, execution, and real market impact.

This is the same starting point that gave companies like Dropbox, Discord, Fitbit, Trello, and Mint their early traction. Thousands of people apply each year. Only 200 people will be selected. Just 20 finalists will pitch live on the Disrupt Stage. One startup wins the crown.

If you’re building something category-defining, or know its founder, now is the time to move forward. Nominate your startup or a noteworthy startup and complete your application before the deadline expires.
