After a series of ups and downs, Hearts face a final day clash for Scottish Premiership glory.

The Jambos, who have been top of the table virtually all season, had to hope for a win and Celtic a loss to secure a historic night at Tynecastle Park.

However, after a stoppage-time penalty gave the Hoops a win at Fir Park, Saturday’s game at Parkhead will have to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

It was a nervy start for the Jambos, with Calvin Miller curling the ball into the Bairns’ goal early on, only to be saved by an offside flag.

Frankie Kent nodded in the lead as Tynecastle exploded with Cammy Devlin adding another point before the break. Blair Spital then scored a shocking goal in the second half to widen the decisive goal difference.

Blair Spital scored a fantastic goal for Hearts in the Scottish Premiership.

Fans were on an emotional rollercoaster after the Fir Park goal, but Derek McInnes’ side remain one point behind Celtic as they chase their first title since 1960.

Hearts remain unbeaten at home in the league and have yet to lose to Celtic this season.

It was a struggle in the early stages under the Gorgie lights, but nerves subsided when Kent nodded past Nicky Hogarth.

Devlin doubled the lead and it looked like it was going to be the night Hearts fans dreamed of.

News that Celtic had taken the lead in Lanarkshire quieted the party, but Motherwell’s equalizer and Spital’s superb finish into the bottom corner raised the buzz again.

But no other season brought more drama, with a late penalty for the Hoops snatching a late victory and setting up an epic title game.

What will happen in the Scottish Premiership?
