Your chances of getting VC access, global recognition, TechCrunch coverage, and $100,000 in equity-free funding are running low.

Startup Battlefield 200 applications will officially close in just two weeks. If you’re launching a breakthrough startup or know the founder of one, now’s the time to take action.

Apply by May 27th for a chance to join 200 of the world’s most promising early-stage startups at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026.

This window will close immediately

Pre-Series A founders, consider this a countdown reminder. The strongest startups are already entering this space.

If your startup has already been nominated, please complete the application immediately. The last part moves quickly, so if you submit late you risk getting lost in the noise.

Do you know a startup that deserves our attention? Nominate us now so you still have time to apply before the deadline.

More than a pitch contest

Startup Battlefield 200 is where breakthrough companies are discovered.

Selected startups will perform the show live at Disrupt 2026 in front of over 10,000 attendees, leading VCs, global media, and the entire TechCrunch audience. This is your chance to increase investor exposure, receive direct feedback from VCs, and prove that your company belongs among the next generation of category-defining startups.

Early applicants will have more time to prepare, more chances to stand out to TechCrunch editors, and the advantage of gaining momentum before the competition heats up.

Who should apply?

We’re looking for ambitious early-stage startups building innovative, potentially category-defining products.

Applications are globally open across all industries. Most of the selected companies are pre-Series A, but selected Series A startups may qualify on a case-by-case basis.

To apply, startups must have:

Founders with vision, execution and real drive.

This is the same launching pad that helped accelerate companies like Dropbox, Discord, Fitbit, Trello, and Mint.

Thousands of people apply each year. Only 200 people will be selected. Just 20 finalists will pitch live on the Disrupt Stage. One startup wins the crown.

What selected startups will receive

Startup Battlefield 200 offers the highest ROI opportunity for early stage founders. Also, application is free.

Selected startups will receive:

Global exposure across TechCrunch channels. Free exhibit tables on all three days of Disrupt. Four all-access Disrupt paths. Featured startup profiles for event apps. Access to press lists and lead generation opportunities. Master class exclusively for founders. Opportunity to pitch live on the Disrupt Stage. Direct feedback from leading VCs. Aim for $100,000 in equity-free funding.

Please apply by May 27th

2 weeks. that’s it.

Breakthrough founders aren’t waiting for the last minute, they’re already taking action.

If you’re building something category-defining or know a startup that deserves attention, submit your nomination and complete your application by May 27th.
