U.S. stock futures fell early Friday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average regained the $50,000 mark, with the S&P 500 index closing above $7,500 for the first time. Investors are also keeping an eye on the ongoing US-China summit.

dow futures It fell 132 points (0.26%). S&P500 futures down 0.37%, Nasdaq 100 futures It fell by 0.6%.

Outside of business hours, cerebrum Shares rose 6%, extending gains after the artificial intelligence chipmaker’s public market debut.

After secretly filing for an IPO in April, SpaceX plans to release its prospectus as early as next week, CNBC reported.

Wall Street is starting another positive session. S&P500 and Nasdaq Composite It closed at a record high. The S&P 500 rose 0.8% and the Nasdaq rose 0.9%. 30 shares Dow It increased by 370 points (0.8%).

Stocks continue to plummet to record levels amid renewed enthusiasm around artificial intelligence. But a peek under the hood shows the broader market is lagging behind the biggest tech companies, a divergence that is increasingly worrying some investors as a sign of a fragile bull market.

“The growing trade has really deflated,” Keith Lerner, head of investments at Trust Advisory Services, said Thursday on CNBC’s “Closing Bell: Overtime.” “We’re seeing some of the kind of more subdued movement in the economy being reflected in sectors of the market. But…technology is the most prevalent and that’s why the broad indexes are doing well.”

Investors will continue to pay close attention to the outcome of the US-China summit. The summit concludes on Friday after the two countries discuss trade, tariffs, policy on Iran and Taiwan. On Thursday, the U.S. and China agreed that the Strait of Hormuz must remain open, according to a U.S. announcement shared by White House officials.

Stocks are heading for a strong week, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite each heading for seven straight weeks of gains. The Dow is on pace for its sixth win in seven weeks.
