Watch Max Verstappen race here from 1:30pm on Saturday as he races in Germany’s Nürburgring 24 Hours, one of the biggest GT endurance races on the motorsport calendar.
Verstappen has already been racing at the legendary Nordschleife circuit this year in preparation for this weekend’s event, initially winning his first race in March with Britain’s Chris Luram, but was disqualified after his team exceeded the permitted tire distribution.
The four-time world champion will race in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 decked out in Red Bull colors, running alongside teammates Jules Gounon, Dani Juncadella and Lucas Auer under Verstappen Racing, and will share driving duties with the Dutchman in the 24-hour race.
They are a strong team and should be among the favorites for the win, but you never know what will happen, especially in an endurance race where 161 machines are on the track at the same time.
The race begins Saturday at 1:30 p.m., and the race begins 30 minutes later at 2:00 p.m., finishing at the same time on Sunday.
F1 then heads to Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix and Sprint Weekend. Watch Sky Sports F1 live from 22nd to 24th May. Stream Sky Sports now – cancel anytime with no contract
