At Google IO 2026, the company announced Google Antigravity 2.0, a new version of its agent coding app with an updated desktop app, CLI tools, and SDK for custom workflows. Last year, the company released its Antigravity tool as a response to agent coding software such as Cursor.
The company says its new desktop app allows users to coordinate multiple agents and perform tasks simultaneously. Additionally, you can design custom subagent workflows and schedule tasks that can run automatically in the background. The new app also lets you easily integrate your projects with Google AI Studio, Android, and Firebase.
Google says much of that is enabled by its new Gemini 3.5 Flash model, co-developed using Antigravity.
Google is adding support for native voice commands to Antigravity, just as it has added support for native voice commands to multiple consumer products such as Gmail and Docs. We’re also releasing a new Antigravity CLI (command line interface) tool for programmers who want to use the terminal to write agents. Google is encouraging users who were using the Gemini CLI tool to migrate to the new tool.
Additionally, Google will release the Antigravity SDK to allow developers to build custom agents based on Google’s coding tools. The company will enable Google Cloud customers to connect and build projects with Antigravity. He said he will be releasing custom agent templates in AI Studio for enterprise users to get started.
Google is also adding the Antigravity export tool to AI Studio so developers can export existing projects and continue working locally.
Google uses Antigravity’s coding technology in consumer products like search, where users get custom UI generated in real-time as part of their answers. Here, users can build mini-apps while exploring topics within search, the company said.
The company is introducing a new AI Ultra plan priced at $100 that increases AI limits in anti-gravity by five times the Pro plan.
We’re also reducing the price of our top-tier AI Ultra plan from $250 to $200, allowing for 20x higher limits than the Pro plan. Other AI labs like Anthropic and OpenAI have added $100 and $200 monthly plans in recent years, creating tiered systems for users with different AI usage requirements.
