The main suspect in Monday’s bombing that injured a Ukrainian businessman in Monaco is a Ukrainian woman disguised as a man, local authorities have announced.

Named in Interpol’s Red Notice as 39-year-old Anastasia Berezovska, she last lived in Germany and has a tattoo, possibly a snake, on her right arm from shoulder to elbow.

After the attack, the suspect fled to neighboring France, prosecutors said, adding that he then drove to Italy in a German-registered car rented for the operation.

Prosecutors said the sophistication of the bomb used suggested multiple perpetrators were involved, adding that two men were arrested in Monaco and later released due to lack of evidence.

According to CNN’s French affiliate BFMTV, the main suspect has been the subject of a manhunt since a bomb targeting Ukrainian-born businessman Vadim Ermolayev was detonated in the foyer of one of Monaco’s most luxurious apartments four days ago.

Immediately after the attack, BFMTV shared a reported photo of the suspect, who media outlets initially assumed was the man running away, wearing a black jumper and light-colored pants, with his hair tucked under a black bucket hat.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
