AAPL sells 1 million Apple shares last month New tariffs targeting Canada President Donald Trump has said he wants to impose 50% tariffs on many Canadian products. The list is long and includes cement and hockey sticks. Like hockey pads, many of those items are now manufactured in China, Vietnam, Thailand and other countries. The tax also applies to wine. The president said it was retaliation for allegations of discrimination in Canada against certain products made in the U.S. The iShares MSCI Canada ETF (EWC) hit a record high last week. The ETF is up about 26% in one year. Momentum iShares MSCI USA Momentum Factor ETF (MTUM) is down about 12% so far in July. Top holdings include Micron Technology, AMD, Broadcom, Intel, and Caterpillar. It hit its all-time high on June 22nd, but is currently down 12.5%.
