CEO Andy Power said the results reflected “solid customer demand and strong execution across our core pillars of growth.” Travel stocks — The group rose as oil prices fell on reports that Pakistan, with support from China, is pushing for a renegotiation between the United States and Iran. Shares of cruise lines Carnival and Norwegian both rose more than 5%. Shares of American Airlines and United Airlines rose 6.9% and 4.3%, respectively. CH Robinson Worldwide — The shipping company’s stock fell 8%. A jury in Dallas County, Texas, has returned a recommended verdict against C.H. Robert Half earned 26 cents a share, in line with FactSet expectations. Revenue was $1.34 billion, slightly above consensus of $1.32 billion. Free cash flow was also lower than expected, but the company reaffirmed its capital expenditure outlook through fiscal 2029. Verizon Communications — The telecommunications company’s stock rose 3% after a mixed earnings report.
