Popular European vibecoding startup Lovable has confirmed previously reported whispers that it is raising a new mega-round at a valuation of $13.3 billion. Lovable announced Wednesday that it has raised $400 million in a Series C round led by Menlo Ventures and Scaleup Europe Fund, with participation from more than a dozen other investors.

The new funding comes after Lovable hit $500 million in annual run-rate revenue in June, the startup told TechCrunch. The previous round, announced in December, raised $330 million at a valuation of $6.6 billion, also led by Menlo Ventures and co-led by CapitalG.

As the startup has grown, it says it now hosts 60 million projects that attract 900 million visitors each month, but the needs and sophistication of its backend have also increased, the company said. For example, Lovable offers its own in-house trained AI models in addition to the usual Frontier model options. In June, it signed a multi-year contract with Google Cloud, and usage has increased fivefold. Lovable is also backing other European startups, including Danish startup Atech, which is developing vibe coding software to design high-tech hardware.

Note: One of Lovable’s new Series C investors is Regent, an investment firm that also owns TechCrunch.
