With the average of the three major stocks posting consecutive losses, here’s what CNBC TV producers were paying attention to and what they’re eyeing for next trading. Home Depot Reports on ‘Squawk Box’ Share price rose 13.6% in three months. Home Depot stock is up 21% from its September 2025 high. HD 3M Mountain Home Depot for the Past 3 Months BHP CEO Appears Live on “Wake Up Call” Watch BHP CEO Brandon Craig’s interview with Morgan Brennan at 5 a.m. ET. This is Craig’s first major interview since he joined the mining giant’s management team on July 1. The stock is up almost 5% in three months. The stock is down 6% from its June 16 high. Memories… Mad Money’s Jim Cramer had some great thoughts on DRAM memory stocks on Monday night. He acknowledged that the company had undertaken large share buybacks. Many companies except Micron are buying back their own shares. I used to worry that I would be too far behind these stocks because of their boom-bust cycles. He argues that it could be different this time due to data center demand, which drives demand for memory chips. SanDisk is up more than 652% this year, but is down 24% from its highs. This is an increase of 3,911% in one year. Seagate is up 261% since the beginning of the year. The stock is down 13% from its June 18 high. This is an increase of 544% in one year. Micron is up 254% since the beginning of the year. The stock is down 20% from its June high. An increase of 737% in one year. Western Digital is up 211% since the beginning of the year. The stock is down 33% from its June 18 high. The stock price has increased 614% in one year. We’ll talk more about memory stocks in Tuesday’s Morning Call. The Round Hill Memory ETF (DRAM) is down 25% from its June 22 high. The ETF is up about 20% so far in August. WDC YTD Mountain Western Digital to Live Stream Housing in 2026 with ‘Squawk Box’ July’s numbers will be announced at 8:30am. Becky Quick, Andrew Ross Sorkin and Joe Kernen present the numbers. The Dow Jones Consensus forecasts a decline of 6.1% from the previous month to 1.34 million. CNBC TV’s Diana Orrick will be covering the housing space with all the details and potential implications for stock prices. Industrial Production The data will be presented live on “Squawk on the Street” at 9:15 a.m. with Carl Quintanilla, Jim Cramer and David Faber. Amer Sports reported on “Squawk Box” The stock price was flat for the first time in three months. The stock is down 24% from its February high. Amer Sports is the owner of sports brands such as Atomic Skis, Salomon Skis, Louisville Slugger, mountain gear companies Arc’teryx and Wilson. 2026 AS YTD Mountain Amer Sports Klarna Reports on ‘Squawk Box’ Payments stock is up 28.6% in 3 months. Klarna is down 65% from its September high. The fintech and payments company infamously fired a large portion of its workforce, claiming that AI could do the job, before reportedly rehiring many of them. In a May 2025 Bloomberg article, Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski said, “From a brand perspective, from a company perspective, I think it’s really important to make it clear to customers that there’s always a human there if they want it.” Toll Brothers Report on “Closing Bell: Overtime” Shares rose 15% in three months. Toll Brothers stock is down 13% from its February high. TOL 3M Mountain Toll Brothers to face California meth trial in less than 3 months The social media giant is facing a lawsuit in California alleging that Mark Zuckerberg’s meth platform is harming children and teens. Monday’s CNBC.com headline read, “Meth faces ‘astronomical’ consequences as legal battle reaches critical juncture in California.” Meta is down 28% from its high in September last year. The stock price has fallen about 14% so far in 2026. CNBC’s Julia Boorstin will continue reporting on Tuesday. Gold futures rose 11% in one month. VanEck Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is up almost 29% over the past month, but the fund is still down 21% from its March highs. Guy Adami, a trader on CNBC’s “Fast Money,” said he is keeping an eye on gold. We will continue that on Tuesday.
