Data center developer Crusoe, which counts Meta, Microsoft, and OpenAI among its customers, has raised $3 billion in new funding at a $30 billion valuation, Bloomberg reported.

The deal was co-led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners, with participation from Mubadala Capital, the asset management subsidiary of Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala.

The company recently signed a massive five-year, $13 billion cloud contract to supply GPUs and AI infrastructure to quantitative trading firm Jane Street, Bloomberg reports.

The new funding comes 10 months after Crusoe raised $1.38 billion at a $10 billion valuation last October.

Crusoe was founded in 2018 as a flared natural gas-powered cryptocurrency mining operation and has since pivoted to become a leading AI infrastructure and cloud provider, best known for developing hyperscale data center campuses for clients such as Oracle and OpenAI.

The company recently met with investment bankers including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to discuss the possibility of an IPO in the near future, Axios reported last month.
