Stocks with the biggest after-hours price movements: SNOW, AVGO, NTSK, FIVE

Here are some companies that are making headlines for their extended deals. Snowflake – Shares rose 22% after the company’s second-quarter results beat analysts’ expectations. For the quarter, Snowflake posted adjusted earnings of 62 cents per share on revenue of $1.55 billion. Analysts surveyed by LSEG had expected earnings of 45 cents a share and revenue of $1.48 billion. The company also raised its full-year product revenue outlook. Hewlett Packard Enterprise – The enterprise technology company fell 4%. HPE is looking for 16% to 20% earnings growth for the fiscal year ending October 2027, while the FactSet consensus calls for an 18.7% increase. Cash flow for the period is expected to be at least 5.0 billion percent of the Street’s forecast of $4.79 billion. Broadcom – The chipmaker’s stock has changed a bit lately. Broadcom fell 5% in early after-hours trading as investors reacted negatively to the company’s fourth-quarter revenue forecast ($34.8 billion versus expected $35.03 billion). Non-GAAP operating margin estimates for the fourth quarter were 66%, below expectations of 66.5%. Broadcom reported third-quarter revenue of $29.59 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $3.32. Petco – The pet products retailer rose nearly 9%. Adjusted EBITDA margin for the quarter was 8.2% versus the StreetAccount consensus estimate of 7.4%. Excluding the tariff benefit, the metric would have been 7.7%, still higher than analysts expected. Argan – The engineering and construction stock soared nearly 9% after the company posted better-than-expected earnings and earnings in the second quarter. Argan earned $3.76 per share in the same period, well above the $2.64 per share expected by analysts surveyed by FactSet. The company’s sales were $384 million, compared to analysts’ expectations of $350 million. Five Below – The discount retailer rose 5% after second-quarter results beat expectations on sales and bottom line. Five Below had earnings of $1.68 per share on revenue of $1.26 billion, compared with analysts’ expectations compiled by FactSet of $1.40 per share and revenue of $1.22 billion. Same-store sales also exceeded plans. C3.ai – The artificial intelligence app software company fell 2% after its second-quarter revenue outlook disappointed public expectations. Netskope – The cybersecurity company’s stock price soared 12%. Netskope expects full-year sales in the range of $888 million to $892 million, compared to LSEG’s consensus estimate of $881 million. The company also expects an adjusted loss of 15 cents per share in the period, smaller than the expected loss of 18 cents per share. NetApp – The data infrastructure company fell 8%. Deferred revenue for the quarter was $4.85 billion, slightly below StreetAccount’s consensus estimate of $4.86 billion. Non-GAAP gross margin for the period was 70.6%, compared to the Street’s estimate of 69.7%. CNBC’s Sean Conlon and Tobias Burns contributed reporting.
