Here are some companies that are making headlines in intraday trading. Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure — Stocks of companies involved in building AI soared after losing several sessions. AI cloud computing firm Coreweave soared more than 4% and Nevius rose nearly 5%, with both stocks on track for a five-day decline. Photonics companies Lumentum and Coherent rose 8% and 6%, respectively, while Dell stock rose 5%. SpaceX — Elon Musk’s rocket company’s stock rose 5%. SpaceX has announced the next test for its Starship rocket, scheduled for launch on September 22nd. On this flight, the company also plans to deploy Starlink V3 satellites. Honeywell Technologies — Shares of the automation solutions developer rose nearly 3%. In a presentation at Morgan Stanley’s Laguna Industrials Conference, management said strong second-quarter orders and a solid start to the third quarter support a favorable position for year-end and 2027. FTAI Aviation — Shares rose 5% after the aircraft engine supplier announced its board of directors approved a $500 million stock repurchase program. SK Hynix, Intel — The chipmaker’s stock rose after Reuters reported that SK Hynix is in talks with Intel to make memory chips in the United States for the first time. SK Hynix stock rose 2%, and Intel stock rose 5%. SK Hynix said it has not made any decisions regarding its partnership with Intel. JB Hunt Transport Services — Shares of the transportation and logistics company fell nearly 13% after the company warned that third-quarter revenue could be 5% to 10% lower than the previous three months. JB Hunt said the decrease was due to internal adjustments to account for increased purchase transportation charges. Expedia — Shares of the online travel company fell about 1% after Morgan Stanley downgraded the stock to underweight. Analysts at the bank said the risk and reward aspects of the stock were weak, particularly due to its large exposure to potentially weak consumers. Energy Stocks — Energy stocks fell as U.S. crude oil prices fell more than 3% on reports that energy inventories rose last week. Diamondback Energy Inc. stock fell 8%, and Occidental Petroleum Inc. stock fell 5%.
