Stocks making big moves before the market: WDAY, GNRC, VICR, TSEM, VITL

Check out some of the companies making the biggest moves at midday: Workday — Shares of the cloud-based human resources software platform rose 5%. CNBC’s David Faber reported, citing anonymous sources, that efforts to raise funds to take Workday private continue. Lucid Group — The electric car maker’s stock rose nearly 9% after its CEO told Bloomberg that restructuring work with advisers is finished, according to FactSet. SiTime — Shares of the Silicon Valley-based maker of microelectromechanical systems-based silicon timing products rose nearly 10% after Morgan Stanley initiated research coverage with an overweight recommendation and a $730 price target, indicating a potential 33% upside from Wednesday’s closing price. Tower Semiconductor — Shares of the privately held Israeli semiconductor maker Nu Photonics rose nearly 9% after the company agreed to ship large volumes of laser-integrated optical engines designed to meet the growing demand for high-bandwidth, energy-efficient optical interconnects in artificial intelligence infrastructure. Fluence Energy — Shares fell 14% after the battery maker lowered its full-year outlook. Fluence currently projects sales of $2.4 billion in 2026, compared with its previous guidance of $2.9 billion to $3.1 billion. The company also expects a loss before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $200 million, which is higher than its previous guidance range of $30 million loss to $10 million EBITDA. Vital Farms — Shares of the Austin, Texas-based pastured egg and butter producer rose 9% after Axios announced it was exploring strategic alternatives, including privatization. Generac — Shares soared 19% after the generator maker signed a deal with Amazon to supply backup generators to data centers. Initial deliveries are expected to total $2.4 billion by 2027-2028. Generac also granted Amazon the right to buy up to $340 million worth of its stock. Amazon shares rose 1.3%. Arm Holdings — CEO Rene Haas told CNBC’s Jim Cramer that he’s increasingly confident the company can meet demand for new data center chips. The stock price rose 9%. Vicor — The maker of modular power components soared 15%. The Massachusetts-based company has granted the AI ​​OEM a non-exclusive license for its vertical power supply modules. — With reporting by CNBC’s Michelle Fox
