Mark Zuckerberg’s group has jumped ahead in the AI race with a new model that has overtaken its peers in download popularity and helped lift MagSeven and the Nasdaq back to record highs.
But with AI still a flashpoint for world leaders meeting in the US this week, will the gains be short-lived?

Oil prices rose in early trade on Tuesday, with international benchmark Brent crude futures briefly falling below $100 a barrel before rebounding.
This includes the start of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York on Tuesday. President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold an extraordinary meeting with Gulf leaders, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is also scheduled to speak at the event.
President Trump is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
dinner date
Preparations are also progressing for the long-awaited state dinner between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The United States has announced that several CEOs of American tech companies and banks will attend the event, but the Chinese government has not yet revealed the names of the Chinese companies that will participate in the state visit.
Trade ceasefire between the two countries appears to be holding, but AI and Iran could pose a flashpoint for the two leaders to meet in Washington, D.C.
Comparison with competitors
In corporate news, Novo shares are set to go public after volatile trading on Monday. Shares fell earlier in the week as investors were skeptical about the Danish drugmaker’s growth strategy and competition in the weight-loss market.
