Anthropic announced its Form S-1 filing on Monday, moving the company one step closer to completing its long-awaited transition to the public markets, which now appears almost certain to happen by the end of the year.
Speculators at prediction market platform Kalsi put a 95% chance that the artificial intelligence giant will officially announce an initial public offering by the end of 2026.
Kalsi defines a formal IPO announcement as either the Securities and Exchange Commission declaring an S-1 effective, priced IPO, or an exchange assigning a ticker to the stock.
Anthropic S-1 assumes the ticker symbol “ANT” on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
Anthropic aims to begin trading the week of November 16, The Wall Street Journal reports. Karshi traders have only a 14% chance that the company will start trading by then.
On the Polymarket platform, traders have a 69% chance that Anthropic will go public and begin trading by November 20th.
Disclosure: CNBC and Kalsi have a commercial relationship that includes customer acquisition and minority ownership.
