Ahead of the holiday season, Amazon has added more than 100 new shopping-related features to Alexa. This includes managing subscriptions and lists, updating shipping instructions, resolving payment issues, and answering questions about Prime membership.
With this update, you can use Alexa to create lists, subscribe to them, view their contents, and add or edit items. You can also use AI bots to manage your subscriptions. For example, you can ask the AI bot to change the delivery of your product every three months instead of every month, or you can even edit delivery instructions, such as changing the address or adding drop-off details.
Users can now ask Alexa questions about their Prime or Audible subscriptions, as well as billing and payment issues.
Amazon has launched a variety of AI-focused shopping features this year, including a shopping assistant and ways to notify users about new products and sales.
The company says the number of people using the agent feature has increased eight times since the beginning of the year, and more than 400 million consumers have used Alexa to shop in the past 12 months.
