Our football betting experts, Jones Knows, offer insight across the entire Premier League and are keen to help your favorite supporters with Manchester City and Arsenal.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports

Sunday, October 26th 12:30pm

Kickoff at 2pm

A betting angle has emerged for Arsenal that the second half will produce more goals than the first. Mikel Arteta’s side are masters of control, and this trend shows that. They shut out the game early on, squeezing the space and rarely giving their opponents a nose in the first half.

But once a pattern is established, and fatigue perhaps creeps into the opposition’s decision-making in the second half, the tempo changes and goals tend to emerge from there. Arsenal have scored just eight goals in the first half in their last 10 matches across all competitions, but have scored 16 since the break.

At Sky Bet, 11/10 more goals are scored in the second half than in the first half.

Score prediction: 2-0

Aston Villa vs Manchester City, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports

There is a new ruthlessness emerging from Manchester City, not only when they have the ball, but also when they don’t have it.

While the headlines may still be focused on the monster that is Erling Haaland, just as important is the solidity of their defense. The team, coached by giants Ruben Diaz and Gianluigi Donnarumma, has rediscovered the art of control and clean sheets. The Italian goalkeeper has conceded just four goals in eight games.

As such, City are set to win 5/2 over Zero on Sky Bet, making it a bet to keep an eye on.

Market still has a lot of respect for Villa at home, which is understandable given their record of losing just one of their last 22 home Premier League games. But dig a little deeper and Villa’s expected goals rate in the Premier League is still underwhelming at just 0.86 out of 90, with only four teams scoring below average.

Siti is taken to see them off.

Score prediction: 0-2 | Best bet Jones knows: Manchester City win unbeaten (5/2, Sky Bet)

Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports

Sometimes markets quietly drift away from reality and that’s exactly what happened on the Bournemouth goal line. While everyone associates Andoni Iraola’s side with chaos and attacking flair, the actual numbers paint a much duller picture, especially at home.

Over the last 12 Premier League home games, Vitality has averaged just 1.92 goals per game. Entering the perfect storm for a low-scoring fixture comes Nottingham Forest, coached by Sean Dyche.

You know what you’re getting with Dyche: a compact shape, an emphasis on organization, and a game plan built around defensive resilience. His team doesn’t cause chaos. Containment is everything, especially away from home.

At Sky Bet 10/11, the cost of less than 2.5 goals is a runner.

Score prediction: 1-1

Wolves v Burnley, Sunday 2pm, live on Sky Sports

Ah, the six pointer. Two words that make managers twitch and fans panic.

These are what determine the season. For the Wolves, it’s simply a huge game.

They are the only team without a win in the top four divisions this season and failure to show the necessary intent against Burnley could only unsettle an already frustrated home crowd. In soccer, the biggest threat to a team’s performance is often not its opponent, but its own stadium. West Ham have proven that this season and it could be the case here at Wolves.

The hosts look a little thin at Sky Bet evens, but this means Burnley will play 4/5 with double chances.

Score prediction: 1-1

Everton vs. Tottenham, Sunday 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports

Under manager Thomas Frank, Spurs look more organized, compact and risk-averse. In 13 games, they have conceded just 0.8 goals per game. Frank clearly focuses on the structural fundamentals of protecting the centre-backs, limiting transitions and ensuring the link between midfield and defense.

That aspect of the game is working.

But soccer isn’t just about closing doors; it’s also about creating chances, scoring goals, and giving something to the fans. Spurs haven’t done that – once again creating chances of low quantity and quality, as evidenced by their lackluster attack against Monaco. He is averaging just 9.67-of-90 shots over the past nine games.

So here at Spurs we have a team that doesn’t concede or score many goals.

Sky Bet takes back the under 2.5 line at 4/5.

Score prediction: 1-1
