Artificial intelligence wearables startup Limitless announced Friday that it has been acquired by: meta.

Limitless makes small, AI-powered pendants that can perform tasks such as recording conversations and generating summaries.

Limitless CEO Dan Siroker disclosed the acquisition Friday in a company blog post, but did not disclose financial terms.

“Meta recently announced a new vision to bring personal superintelligence to everyone, and a key part of that vision is to build incredible AI-enabled wearables,” Shilokar said in the post and accompanying video. “We share this vision, and we intend to join Meta to help realize our shared vision.”

Mehta did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Amazon is also running AI through its Alexa+ line of Echo speakers. googleThe Pixel 10 smartphone has Gemini Assistant built-in.

Attention: Meta is seeing tangible return on investment from AI.
