If you know a pre-Series A founder or a startup worth funding, remember this. Candidates for the Startup Battlefield 200 are currently being recruited, and the best candidates have already come forward. Even if your startup is nominated, don’t stop there. Submit your application now.

This isn’t just a marketing opportunity. You’ll take to the main stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 in front of 10,000+ attendees, top VCs, and a global TechCrunch audience. You compete, get live feedback from top VCs, and prove your company belongs.

If you’re thinking about applying or getting a nomination at a startup, waiting is the quickest way to miss out. Founders who act early will have an advantage because they have more time to prepare, increased visibility, and a strong chance to stand out among the TechCrunch editorial team. Make a nomination, apply and complete your submission.

Which startups should apply?

We’re looking for early-stage startups building ambitious, innovative, and potentially category-defining products. We accept applications worldwide across all industries. Most of the selected companies are pre-Series A, but some Series A will be considered on a case-by-case basis. You need a minimum functional product (MVP) and a clear product demo. Above all, we support powerful founders and ideas with real impact.

This is the same stage where companies like Dropbox, Discord, Fitbit, Trello, and Mint rose to prominence in their early days. See who else had success in Battlefield 200.

Thousands of people apply each year. 200 people will be selected as participants. 20 people will advance to the final round and pitch live on the Disrupt Stage. Only one champion can win. Click here for details and to apply.

Apply now for Startup Battlefield 200

Entries close on May 27th, but the winning founders won’t wait. They move early and get shots before the competition catches up.

If you’re building something that can define a category, or know a founder who defines a category, now’s your chance. Nominate your startup or a startup from your arena. If you are nominated, please submit your application. Don’t miss out on opportunities by sitting on the sidelines.
