According to the Wall Street Journal, Anthropic is preparing to raise $10 billion in new funding at a valuation of $350 billion. TechCrunch confirmed the increase and valuation, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The makers of Claude last raised a $13 billion Series F round three months ago at a valuation of $183 billion, so this latest raise nearly doubles the AI company’s value. In March, Anthropic secured $3.5 billion at a valuation of $61.5 billion.

Kotu Management and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC will lead the new round, WSJ reported, citing people familiar with the deal. Anthropic expects to close its latest financing in the coming weeks, and the total transaction amount is subject to change.

This round is separate from the $15 billion that Nvidia and Microsoft recently committed to investing in Anthropic, a “rotating” deal in which Anthropic will buy $30 billion in computing power from Microsoft Azure powered by Nvidia’s chips.

The new funding comes as Anthropic continues to impress developers with Claude Code, a tool designed to automate coding powered by Claude Opus 4.5. This also comes as Anthropic prepares for a possible IPO this year alongside its main rival OpenAI. OpenAI is also in talks to raise up to $100 billion at a valuation of up to $830 billion.

Antropic declined to comment.

This article has been updated to reflect that TechCrunch has separately confirmed this round.
