The Trump administration plans to redirect $2 billion in funding meant for global health programs to the cost of shutting down the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), according to a copy of the notice obtained by CNN. Two federal health policy experts told CNN that the money would come from funds appropriated by Congress for health programs that address malaria, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, nutrition, global health security, and HIV/AIDS. Spotify announced Thursday that its Interactive AI DJ feature now supports four additional languages: French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. Previously, the ability to interactively request songs and get AI-powered audio descriptions was only available in English and Spanish. According to the company, the AI DJs will have different names and personalities depending on their language: Maia, Ben, Alex, and Dani. In addition to expanding support for new languages, the company also plans to bring this feature to Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, South Korea, and Switzerland. Beijing — In a surprising move amid a continuing military purge, China on Thursday handed suspended death sentences to two former defense ministers on corruption charges. According to state media, Wei Fenghe and Li Shangfu were both found guilty of bribery and sentenced to death by a military court with a two-year suspended sentence.
