French research institute Mistral AI has raised $830 million in debt to build a new data center near Paris powered by Nvidia chips, Reuters and CNBC report. Mistral first announced plans to build the data center last year, and CEO Arthur Mensch said in February 2025 that the company would consider various financing options.
