What EFL will be broadcast live on Sky Sports+ on Saturdays at 12:30pm?

Sky Sports+ will be broadcasting six EFL matches live on Saturday, with the build-up starting at 11am on Sky Sports Football ahead of the feature game, Derby vs Leicester. You can also keep up with all the action from EFL Goal Zone football from midday on Saturday.

what’s the live show on saturday

CH: Charlton vs Portsmouth, Derby vs Leicester, Watford vs Norwich L1: Cardiff vs Huddersfield, Plymouth vs Bradford L2: Colchester vs Gillingham

It feels like Derby County are in a bit more limbo than they were a few weeks ago. After soaring up the table with five straight wins, they have lost two of their last three games since the international break. Additionally, leading scorer and talisman Carlton Morris has been lost to injury for at least a few months.

However, they have a chance to get back on track as they face a side who are lacking in confidence on Saturday, against Leicester City.

The Foxes have dropped to 16th place after a miserable series of defeats. Although they suffered a 3-0 defeat against Southampton, they made a good impression in the match against Sheffield United, where they made a late comeback and were 2 down at the end of the 4th minute and 3 down at half-time. Still, they lost 3-2.

Leicester midfielder Jordan James has admitted to Sky Sports that despite his excellent performances, he knows his side have underperformed this season.

Jordan James is in the strange position of being one of the league’s most impressive performers in Leicester’s midfield, even though the team has struggled at times.

And the 21-year-old midfielder, currently on loan from Rennes, feels he can help lift the team out of their current slump.

“As a team, it’s clear we’re not where we want to be,” he told Sky Sports. “We know we need to improve and we know where we want to get to.

“I’ve been at clubs in really bad situations when we’re going through bad patches like this, but this is nothing close to that. You’re under a different kind of pressure where you’re expected to win and I’ve thrived under that. There’s never really been anything like that before.”

“When I’m playing well individually, the team usually does well as well. I’m just trying my best to achieve what I want to achieve and what the team wants to achieve. I feel that if I can keep up my current performance, the results will change quickly.”

Sky Sports Essential EFL Podcast looks ahead to Championship Derby vs Leicester

David Prutton’s predictions on the Sky Sports Essential EFL podcast:

“Derby have been in good form, winning five games on the bounce, but the loss of Carlton Morris has clearly disrupted them. They now face Leicester who will be looking to get back on a winning streak.

“It’s a tough challenge for Leicester against Derby County. The East Midlands rivalry is in their favor, but Leicester have really underperformed so far under manager Marti Sifuentes. The decision hasn’t helped them, but for a team that many expected to challenge for the top two, or at least the top six, there’s really some work to do.”

“I feel like Derby are going to dominate this game. They won 2-1 at home.”

Elsewhere in the Championship, two teams with poor form will meet at The Valley as Charlton take on Portsmouth. Charlton have lost their last four games on the bounce, conceding 12 goals in that time but scoring just two. Portsmouth dropped to the bottom three with just one win from eight games.

Meanwhile, Watford face Norwich City at Vicarage Road. Watford are still unbeaten at home since Javi Gracia’s return to the club, but Norwich finally ended their miserable winless run by defeating QPR in their last game. They have been winless in their last 13 championship games.
