Macclesfield’s reward for defeating FA Cup holders Crystal Palace was another home draw against Premier League opponents at Brentford on matchday four.
John Rooney’s side defeated the Eagles in the third round in the biggest upset in FA Cup history and will host the Bees in their next encounter, scheduled to take place on the weekend of February 14th.
Aston Villa have already defeated Tottenham, so it won’t be easy for Unai Emery’s side to welcome Newcastle to Villa Park. Elsewhere, Liam Rosenior will return to his former club Hull City after the Tigers’ draw with Chelsea.
A rematch from last season’s tournament could take place at the Etihad after Manchester City drew at home with either Salford City or Swindon. The winner of Monday night’s match between Liverpool and Barnsley will face Brighton at home after the Seagulls beat Manchester United.
Arsenal welcome Wigan Athletic to the Emirates, while Grimsby Town will be aiming for the Premier League again this term after drawing at home to Wolves.
Other Premier League sides Fulham, Sunderland, West Ham and Leeds have all been drawn away and will face Stoke City, Oxford United, Burton Albion and Birmingham City respectively.
