This month, a second mass shooting occurred in the US state of Minnesota.
As soon as Donald Trump returned to the White House early last year, he rushed to crack down on people entering the United States illegally.
His regime immediately began mass arrests and mass deportations.
This led to mass protests against President Trump’s immigration policies.
Demonstrators are especially angry at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, who they say are using excessive force.
And Minnesota has been the epicenter of anger over the crackdown in recent weeks.
This month alone, there have been at least three shootings by immigration officers, two of which resulted in fatalities.
So does this violent repression serve a real purpose?
