Enjoy live streaming of England Netball’s Vitality International Test Series vs. New Zealand in three matches.

Vitality Roses will face world No. 2 Silver Ferns in the second Test in London on Sunday 16 November, but in the first Test on Saturday they lost 61-58 due to a small mistake in the close opening game in which both teams committed 15 turnovers.

England hope to win the second Test, which starts at 3pm, and play the series decider against New Zealand in Manchester on November 19 (7pm).

England went into the series fourth in the world after a hugely successful 2024-25 international run, winning the Vitality Netball Nations Cup for the first time, defeating current world number one Australia for the third time and winning the Tiny Jamieson Trophy for the second time against New Zealand.

England will also face Jamaica home and away as the Vitality Horizon Series resumes in December.

Vitality Roses are seeking to win the right to lift the Rhone Hornsby Cup for the first time after Jamaica won the title in a close contest last year.

In the new year, the Roses will take on South Africa, currently ranked fifth in the world, as they continue their journey to Glasgow for the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Jess Thirlby’s England strengthen ahead of Commonwealth Games and Netball World Cup

Head coach Jess Thirlby said: “Securing high-level, high-intensity series against the best teams in the world is always a top priority as we prepare for back-to-back major tournaments, with the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2026 and the Netball World Cup in Sydney in 2027 just around the corner.”

“We have a long-standing rivalry with Jamaica, which was reignited in last year’s heated Vitality Netball Horizon Series, and a recent rivalry with the Silver Ferns that has seen many close matches.

“Both series will test us and help strengthen our preparations for 2026, while also allowing our athletes to make their mark in front of our amazing fans.”
