Sky Sports and Zuffa Boxing have announced a ground-breaking new multi-year UK broadcasting deal.

This landmark deal promises to usher in a new era for the sport, with new promotional powerhouse Zuffa Boxing confirming Sky Sports as the broadcaster for its events in the UK and Ireland.

The deal adds to the broadcaster’s already world-class sports entertainment offering and means customers can look forward to action-packed match nights across the UK mainland, including at least five shows a year.

Sky Sports is the home of British sport and has been at the heart of boxing for over 30 years, bringing fans the best and biggest fights in the sport.

Sky Sports Boxing has been your ringside ticket for many years and the drama and excitement is about to begin again.

From Frank Bruno’s fight with Mike Tyson at the MGM Grand, to Ricky Hatton’s legendary career, Naseem Hamed’s spectacular entrance and sensational fight, to Anthony Joshua headlining Wembley Stadium, Sky Sports has been bringing martial arts fans the best and biggest fights in the sport for 35 years.

The new deal underlines Sky’s renewed commitment to introducing the best boxing talent to British fans with Zuffa.

Zuffa Boxing was founded in 2025 as a joint venture between TKO Group Holdings and leading entertainment conglomerate Sela.

Led by UFC President and CEO Dana White and WWE President and TKO Director Nick Khan, the promotion aims to evolve the current model, reimagine the sport of boxing, and restore boxing to its rightful place at the forefront of the global sports ecosystem.

Who is Zuffa?

This promotional company brings together three of the most powerful names in martial arts entertainment.

Dana White – Long-time figurehead of the hugely successful mixed martial arts operation, UFC Nick Khan – President of WWET Turk Alalcik – Chairman of the Saudi Arabian General Entertainment Authority, who has led a transformational venture in the boxing industry.

White plans to change the world of boxing, and after years of speculation, his vision is finally rapidly taking shape.

Zuffa Boxing promoted the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terrence Crawford superfight last September, which became a truly global event.

In a statement of intent, Zuffa has also signed Conor Benn, one of Britain’s hottest boxing stars, and cruiserweight contender Jay Opetaia.

Their first show on Sky will be headlined by Andres Cortez vs. Elidson Garcia, with both fighters having a combined record of 47 wins and just one loss.

The Las Vegas-based company has promoted four shows at Meta Apex in just two months and has 50-50 competitive clashes at the core of its philosophy.
