Social media users report Netflix outage due to ‘Stranger Things’ revival

Users on social media posted that they are experiencing the following issue Netflix Wednesday’s service will be held on the night of the widely anticipated Season 5 premiere of “Stranger Things.”

DownDetector.com said Wednesday that “reports from users indicate there is a problem with Netflix.”

“Netflix please fix your app,” one X user posted.

According to DownDetector.com, users began reporting issues with Netflix around 7:40 p.m. ET. Netflix has announced that the latest season of “Stranger Things” will be released on Wednesdays at 8pm ET.

Netflix announced that the first four episodes of “Stranger Things” Season 5 will be released on Wednesday. The streaming service announced that it will release three more episodes on December 25th and the show’s final episode on December 31st.

The company did not respond to requests for comment.
