Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw made WSL history by scoring the fastest hat-trick in the competition’s history as league leaders Manchester City cruised to victory over Tottenham.

With a time of 12 minutes and 37 seconds between his first goal and his third, Shaw broke the record, leading his team to an easy victory and extending their lead at the top.

Spurs’ first-half performance was a defensive disaster, with own goals from Kerorin and Amanda Nilden proving costly for Martin Ho’s side.

After Shaw’s opening goal, Olivia Held briefly brought Spurs level, but despite a much improved second half, Beth England’s late goal was just a consolation.

The result means City move closer to the title with an eight-point lead at the top of the WSL.

Highlights of the Women’s Super League match between Manchester United and Everton

Melvin Mallard was a hero for Manchester United, scoring the winning goal in stoppage time to lift Mark Skinner’s side into second place in the WSL standings.

United, who lost to Chelsea in the League Cup final and suffered a disappointing draw at West Ham in midweek, needed Mallard in the 94th minute to secure the three points against the Toffees after a dominant run almost saw them miss out on victory.

Elizabeth Terlando gave United the lead just before half-time with her first goal in four games, but Everton thought they had snatched a point when Inma Gabarro headed the ball past Fallon Tallis-Joyce in the 90th minute.

However, Mallard beat Courtney Brosnan at the near post to claim all three points and the Red Devils moved ahead of Chelsea into second place.

Women’s Super League highlights of Arsenal vs. West Ham United

Chloe Kelly scored two goals and provided one assist as Arsenal beat West Ham 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

West Ham goalkeeper Kinga Siemik made a few saves to go into half-time 1-0, but Kerry set up Stina Blackstenius’ fourth-minute opener.

However, just two minutes after the restart, Alessia Russo headed home to extend the lead to two points.

Kelly hit a superb 20-yard triple in the 55th minute, scoring into the far corner for his first WSL goal since October.

Kelly grabbed his second goal in the 80th minute after a clumsy attempt by West Ham defender Tuva Hansen.

Substitute Beth Meade then added her fifth goal in the 90th minute, maintaining their unbeaten home record in the WSL this season.

Arsenal remain in fourth place, but with two games in hand against the Blues, they are now two points behind third-placed Chelsea, while the Hammers remain three points ahead of them in 11th place.

Highlights of the Women’s Super League match between London City Lionesses and Chelsea

London City Lionesses earned a well-deserved point against reigning WSL champions Chelsea after drawing 1-1 at the New Den.

Johanna Ritting Canelid’s first-half 1-1 finish extended Chelsea’s winning streak to six games and looked set to continue the momentum from last weekend’s League Cup final win.

However, the home side fought back brilliantly in the second half and were finally rewarded with substitute Isabel Goodwin heading in the equalizer in the 82nd minute.

There were concerns for Chelsea and England in the second half as striker Aggie Beaver-Jones was sent off with an ankle injury and looked distressed.

Manchester United’s victory dropped Sonia Bompastor’s side to third place, but London City remained seventh, ending a run of four consecutive defeats in all competitions.
