Lincoln won 2-1 against Reading and were promoted to the Championship for the first time in 65 years with five games remaining.
Their return to the second tier marks an incredible rise for the Imps, who were non-league just nine years ago.
Lincoln were promoted to League Two in 2017 and League One in 2019, and seven years later will be playing Championship football for the first time since 1961.
Under manager Michael Skbala, the team are currently at the top of League One, unbeaten in 24 games, and are 12 points behind second-placed Cardiff.
Lincoln became the first EFL team to be promoted this season.
The stoppage-time win against Reading meant that the Imps now have 27 wins in League One this season, with only more wins coming in 1975/76 (32 wins) and 1951/52 (30 wins).
More to come…
