Sky and the PGA Tour have agreed to extend their long-standing partnership in the UK and Ireland by four years until the end of 2029.

This follows recent rights extensions with the Ladies European Tour, DP World Tour, USGA and Augusta National, resulting in Sky Sports becoming the exclusive home of all golf majors, Ryder Cups and Solheim Cups for at least the next four years, as well as continuing year-round activity on the men’s and women’s tours.

Under the new agreement, Sky Sports will continue to exclusively broadcast all FedExCup regular season events, including the prestigious The Players Championship, the FedExCup Playoffs and each season’s Tour Championship, played at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.

The partnership also includes live coverage of the Presidents Cup in 2026 and 2028, giving Sky Sports viewers access to golf’s biggest international team competition, alongside the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup, until the end of the decade.

In addition, Sky Sports will continue to air the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour champions, providing coverage of the game’s rising stars and legendary players.

Jonathan Licht, chief sports officer at Sky, said: “This new partnership with the PGA Tour reinforces our long-term commitment to providing our customers with the best live golf experience all year round for at least the next four years.”

“This adds to the extension of our key partnerships this year, further strengthening our unparalleled golf offering. Alongside all major tournaments, the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup, the PGA Tour ensures that Sky Sports remains an exclusive destination for golf fans to enjoy the best moments of the year, delivered through our cutting-edge innovation and compelling storytelling.”

New this year, PGA Tour Studios has partnered with Sky to provide direct access to Tour content, additional camera feeds, remote replay capabilities and technical resources for each event. The collaboration will also extend to the PGA Tour’s new World Feed, which will feature Sky talent throughout the Tour’s international broadcasts in 2026.

“We are excited to continue to expand our partnership with Sky to bring PGA Tour action to fans in the UK and Ireland,” said Norbu Gambuzza, Executive Vice President, Media, PGA Tour.

“Great performances from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose from Great Britain and Ireland have led to double-digit viewership growth on Sky in 2025. We look forward to further integrating PGA Tour Studio and World Feed with Sky to deliver even more content from the world’s best players.”

In 2025, PGA Tour viewership on Sky in the UK increased by more than 20 per cent, including a 34 per cent increase during Rory McIlroy’s win at The Players, and a 54 per cent year-over-year increase in the FedExCup Playoffs as Justin Rose won the FedEx St. Jude Championship and Tommy Fleetwood won the Tour Championship and was crowned FedExCup champion.
