Buckingham Palace on Saturday unveiled King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s official 2025 Christmas card, featuring a photo taken to mark the couple’s 20th wedding anniversary earlier this year.

The photo was taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson in April 2025 during the couple’s state visit in the sunny grounds of Villa Walkonski, the British ambassador’s residence in Rome.

Prince Charles, 77, wore a blue pinstripe suit and stood arm in arm with his wife Camilla, 78, who wore a white and beige coat dress and brooch by London-based couturier Anna Valentine, the palace said.

The message inside the card is: “Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a wonderful New Year.”

Senior members of the British royal family traditionally publish copies of cards they send to family, friends and colleagues during the festive period. Last year’s card featured the King and Queen in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.

During a state visit earlier this year, Prince Charles and Camilla had an unexpected meeting with the late Pope Francis at the Vatican, during which the Pope wished the couple a happy anniversary.

Other members of the Windsor family have also been getting into the Christmas spirit in recent days.

Continuing the theme of love, the Prince and Princess of Wales will attend a carol service at London’s Westminster Abbey on Friday to “celebrate love in all its forms,” Kensington Palace said.

This will be the fifth ‘Together at Christmas’ carol service that the Duchess has hosted since 2021. This year’s event was held to celebrate individuals across the UK who have “led efforts to bring people together in their communities or extend a helping hand to those around them”, the Palace said.

In a letter to guests, Duchess Kate said Christmas is a time of year that “reminds us of how deeply interconnected our lives are.”
