Tyson Fury has been offered a return fight against American heavyweight contender Brandon Moore.
Fury has been posting daily on social media about his preparations since announcing his intention to resume his boxing career this year.
Fury’s return date and venue have yet to be confirmed, but Moore’s promoter Dmitry Sarita has mentioned Moore as a possible opponent, and Sarita has expressed interest in negotiating a fight.
“Brandon Moore is the current USBA heavyweight champion and is coming off a three-fight winning streak against previously undefeated fighters,” Sarita told Sky Sports.
“He’s a solid American heavyweight, 6 feet 6 inches tall, 240 to 250 pounds, big, strong and continuing to grow.
“From a physical standpoint, he reflects the profile of a modern heavyweight associated with Anthony Joshua, while also being a fighter in his own right.
“He is someone who wants to test himself at the highest level and his fight with Tyson Fury is a perfect example of that.”
Moore has a record of 19 wins, 10 games suspended, and one loss.
Fury, who plans to weigh under 19 stone for his 38th fight, posted a video of himself jogging around a field with a wooden log on his shoulder before taking part in a training run.
“This is what people don’t see,” Fury said on Instagram. “It’s been a lot of graft behind the scenes.
“The fights, the camps, the hard work that goes into life. It’s not all glitz and glamor. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows.
“As Muhammad Ali said, the outcome is decided long before you step into the ring.
“Winning is done in silence. Hard work is done in silence. It’s not all lights, cameras and action.
“This 12-week camp requires guts, determination, life and soul, faith and destiny, and nothing can replace it. Remember that.”
