The full schedule has been finalized, with hosts England set to join Scotland and Ireland in this summer’s Women’s T20 World Cup.
Scotland and Ireland qualified in Nepal and were placed in Group 2 alongside England, West Indies, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
England open the Women’s T20 World Cup against Sri Lanka in Edgbaston on Friday 12 June, live on Sky Sports.
Scotland and Ireland will meet in the second leg at Old Trafford on June 13th.
Nat Silver-Brant’s England face Ireland at the Hampshire Bowl on June 16, before facing Scotland at Headingley on June 20.
It will be the first time England will play Scotland at home in a World Cup.
They will also face West Indies (the team they eliminated from the 2024 T20 World Cup in the group stage) at Lord’s on June 24, and defending champions New Zealand at The Oval on June 27.
Six-time champions Australia are in Group 1 alongside India and Pakistan, who have finished runners-up in the last two editions, and the other two qualifiers, Bangladesh and the Netherlands.
Siver-Brant: 2026 World Cup could bring real change
Silver-Brunt, who replaced Heather Knight as England captain, said: “World Cups are always special but this one already feels different. It has the potential to be a real game changer.”
“This will be a huge moment for our sport and a great opportunity to inspire young people and engage fans across the country.
“Playing against the best players in the world on home soil for the biggest prize money is a must-see. I can’t wait to get involved.”
